Questions, bug reports, feature ideas, or feedback about Indenta — here is where to send it, and what to include so it can be acted on quickly.

Discord community (fastest)

The primary channel for everything is the Indenta Discord server. It is free to join, and it is where the developer reads and answers messages directly — there is no support department in between. Use it for:

  • Bug reports and troubleshooting
  • Feature requests and design feedback
  • Questions about sync, backup, or importing/exporting notes
  • General questions about how to use Indenta

Messages are usually answered within a few days. Indenta is built and maintained by one person (see About), so responses can occasionally take longer — every message is read.

Email

If Discord is not an option, email works too: p54321ppp-a@yahoo.co.jp. Email is checked less frequently than Discord, so expect a slower reply — but it is the right channel for anything you would rather not post in a public server, such as privacy questions about a specific situation.

Reporting a bug

A good bug report makes the difference between a fix in days and a mystery. Please include:

  • What you did — the steps that led to the problem, as specifically as you can (“pressed Tab on the first line of a collapsed branch” beats “indenting is broken”).
  • What you expected, and what actually happened.
  • Your environment — browser and version, operating system, and whether you use Indenta in a tab or as an installed app.
  • A screenshot or screen recording, if the problem is visual.

One important note: because Indenta stores notes only on your own device (see the Privacy Policy), nobody — the developer included — can see, recover, or reset your data for you. If your concern is about losing notes, set up an export or Google Drive backup first — the User Guide shows how — and then get in touch.

Requesting a feature

Feature ideas are very welcome and have shaped much of what Indenta is today. The most useful requests describe the problem you are trying to solve, not only the solution you have in mind — knowing the underlying workflow often leads to a better design than the first idea would have.

Privacy questions

Questions about what data Indenta stores and where are usually answered by the Privacy Policy — the short version is that notes never leave your device unless you explicitly sync or export them. If something there is unclear or you believe it does not match the app's behavior, please say so on Discord; that is treated as a bug.

Before you write

Two resources answer the most common questions:

  • The User Guide — every feature, from outliner basics to peer-to-peer sync and Google Drive backup.
  • The Blog — longer articles on note-taking methods and how to get the most out of an outliner.
